Rotatable chimney cowls ROTOMAX

Rotatable chimney cowls of the ROTOMAX type are part of the KN cowl system, which is to be used for exhaust  pipes. They are basically made of stainless steel and copper. The task of the Rotomax cowl is to ensure sufficient draft in the exhaust pipes from heating devices operated with gas or oil.

The appropriate construction and special bearings cause the Rotomax to position itself against the wind direction and thus prevent downdraught and so-called backflow of exhaust gases.

The ROTOMAX cowls are available with pipe or base plate. The chimney cowl should be selected so that its shape and size are adapted to the existing exhaust duct and its base should cover the exhaust duct as much as possible. The outer shape of the ROTOMAX depends entirely on the customer’s taste and several available models ensure that everyone can find something for themselves.
